CHANDIGARH, NOV 17: Inspite of perfect playing conditions there were few under-par scores after the inaugural round of the Hero Golf Chandigarh Open. The leading score, a two under par 71, was carded by Vijay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Mohammed Islam.

IRINA LEADS: Irina Brar took the lead in the 32nd Siel Ladies Northern India Open Amateur Golf Championships at New Delhi. She had a one-over 73 to go with her 73 in the first round for an aggregate of 146. Yesterday8217;s leader Vandana Agarwal shot an 80 to to slip to second spot, two strokes behind the leader at 148.

Lalitha Balasubramanium maintained the third place with a 79 with an aggregate of 156. Delhi8217;s Anjali Chopra was fourth with 80 and had a cumulative of 158.
