Trailer accidents disrupt traffic on expressway

Traffic came to a halt on the Pune-Mumbai expressway for more than two hours on Saturday morning after an accident occurred while a trailer tried to overtake another at Bor ghat in Khandala.

Traffic came to a halt on the Pune-Mumbai expressway for more than two hours on Saturday morning after an accident occurred while a trailer tried to overtake another at Bor ghat in Khandala.

There were no casualties reported in the incident. The traffic was diverted to the old Mumbai-Pune highway until the trailers were removed from the place at around 9 am.

In another incident, a trailer heading towards Mumbai flipped over Pune-Mumbai expressway on Friday afternoon near Khandala. Due to this, one lane towards Mumbai had to be closed. The trailer was finally removed late on Friday night.
