PANCHKULA, Sept 25: The Kalka Police has arrested Raj Kumar, a resident of Nepal, who was involved in a theft at a STD shop in Kalka on September 18.
According to the police, Raj Kumar had broken into the shop of Ashok Kumar and had taken away an STD machine and the owner8217;s driving licence. The cost of the stolen goods was estimated to be Rs 16,500.
Chain-snatching in Sector 4
An incident of chain-snatching was today evening reported from Sector 4 here. According to police sources, a woman Kaushalya Devi Aggarwal, a resident of Sector 4 here, was walking down near the Satluj Public School when two scooter borne youths fled away after snatching her chain. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
