It proved to be an interesting clash between the two Lucknow boys at Kinrara Oval today. Kiwi pacer Anurag Verma, like Tanmay Srivastava, was born in Kanpur and grew up in Lucknow before his family migrated to New Zealand. As fate would have it, Tanmay ended up bowling to Anurag in the last over of the Kiwi innings and had him clean bowled as the New Zealand batsman went for a big slog. But soon Anurag turned the tables on Tanmay. The Indian batsman fell to Verma when he was brilliantly caught at mid-on by Corey Anderson. Scores tied till they meet again.
