From soft lavender to a deep violet, purple is the colour many designers are playing with this season. International designers Comme Des Garcons and Emilio Pucci use the colour in simple cuts and styles while Valentino adds shimmer to his deep purple evening dress. Designer Anjana Bhargav adds a dash of the colour to a flowing skirt.
8220;Purple is a very funky colour but you don8217;t necessarily need to go over the top with it. There are so many ways in which one can add the colour to one8217;s wardrobe this season,8221; says designer Gaurav Gupta. 8220;You could wear purple pumps with a basic black dress or a purple belt with blue jeans and a basic top,8221; he adds. You can also accessorise with purple scarves to purple bags. So get a splash of the royal colour in your wardrobe.
