The level of terrorist-related violence in Jammu and Kashmir has declined by 33 per cent till July this year when compared to last year. The figure for 2006 was about 16 per cent lower than that for 2005, Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said in response to a question in Parliament on Tuesday.“As per the reports of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, there has been a continuous declining trend in the level of violence during the last three years,” said Jaiswal.The Government has been saying the level of terrorist-related violence has shown a fall since the beginning of this year.
