MUMBAI, JANUARY 24: TATA Tea Ltd8217;s TTL net profit for the third quarter increased by over 15 per cent to Rs 32.52 crore, but it still remained lower at Rs 104.82 crore for the nine months ended December 31, 1999, compared to Rs 122.52 crore in the first three quarters of 1998-99.
The profit from operations for the quarter is lower at compared to the same quarter last year. Other income of Rs. 12.52 crore for the third quarter represents profit on sale of investments, it said.
