Claiming that she was wrongly framed in the Taj Corridor case, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and BSP chief Mayawati today said she would not hesitate to take revenge from the BJP cadre and state civil servants if voted to power in the state.
‘‘I was wrongly framed in the Taj Corridor case. Even many fake cases were slapped on me. However, when my party comes to power in UP, no state civil servant and BJP activist would be spared,’’ she said addressing a public rally here.
‘‘If my party is voted to power in UP, I would not hesitate to take revenge from the BJP people who had put me into deep trouble after toppling my government,’’ she said. She said the BSP is contesting nearly 325 Parliament seats all over the country. ‘‘We are contesting all Parliament constituencies on our own without an alliance with any political party since no party seems to be sincere to the BSP,’’ she said.
She said: ‘‘I was the one who dared to put Raja Bhaiyya behind the bars when I was the CM and now if my party comes to power I would teach a lesson to those who pulled us down and have been responsible for atrocities on BSP members.’’
