NEW DELHI, January 27: The Jammu and Kashmir tableau Kashmir sings was today judged the best tableau on the last Republic Day of the millennium. The marching contingent of 11 Gorkha Rifles was found to be the best by a panel of judges, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement today. The second prize went to the Central Public Works Department CPWD8217;s tableau on the theme Slow and Steady Wins the Race and stories from the Panchtantra. Gujarat tableau on Ancient civilisation of Dholavira came third.
