NEW DELHI, July 28: A minor scuffle led to a murder when two men threw sulphuric acid on three others in a sweet shop in Koriapul in Kotwali police station area. All the five men, Sunil, Balram, Rajesh, Gopi, Mridul and Manohar worked in the shop. Three of the men used to sleep on the terrace of the shop. Sunil reportedly poured water on Balram and Rajesh’s bed last night. According to the police, Sunil used to play such pranks often and the two were fed up. They reportedly woke up late last night and poured sulphuric acid on Sunil’s face. Balram and Rajesh asked Gopi and Mridul to join them but they refused. The two reportedly threw acid on Gopi and Mridul as well. All three were rushed to LNJP. Sunil died in the hospital. The condition of Gopi and Mridul is reportedly stable.
