PUNE, May 27: A young housewife Pooja Bhakande hanged herself allegedly over dowry harassment by her in-laws at Bhosari here on Monday.
The police have registered a case of harassment against her husband Mahesh Bhakande on the basis of the complaint lodged by the father of the deceased, Dattatreya B Bamane.
Mishap: A thirteen-year-old boy was killed on Eliphinstone Road when A bus ran over him on Tuesday evening. Mahendra Shivraj Kohli, a resident of Rajiv Gandhinagar slums was hit by a company bus when he was playing on the road. The driver of the bus, Shivaji Pandurang Ghavte has been arrested and has been charged with causing death by negligent driving.
