CHANDIGARH, Feb 24: As many as 450 school children had practical experience of the various instruments, techniques used in map making on the opening day of quot;National Science Day 1999 celebrationsquot;, by Survey of India, North Western Circle at Sector 32, today.
Students of various schools, including Shivalik Public School, St. Stephen8217;s School, Mount Carmel School, Sector 46, went around the exhibition and obtained information about the use of computers, photogrammetric instruments, electronic distance measuring instruments, which were put on display.
