STD committee clears waiting list till Sept 30

CHANDIGARH, Oct 14: The STD/PCO allotment committee today met under the chairmanship of Telecom general manager Prithipal Singh and decided to clear the waiting list of STD PCO connection up to September 30 in exchanges of Sector 17, Mani Majra, Industrial Area, Sectors 37 and 34, Panchkula, Maloya, Sohana, Mohali and Kharar.

The committee could not consider the cases of Khuda Lahora, Khuda Alisher, Mullanpur, Dera Bassi and Zirakpur for want of exchange capacity.

Allotment letters to those who have got the clearance would be issued shortly. The chairman further informed the applicants to complete all formalities within 30 days from the date of issue of allotment letters failing which their allotments are likely to be cancelled.
