TIRUNELVELI, NOV 6: A brilliant 106 by skipper Sujit Somasunder and his 176-run third-wicket partnership with Vijay Bharadwaj helped Karnataka score 224 for five wickets in its first innings against Tamil Nadu in the South-Zone Ranji Trophy league match at the India Cements Grounds today.

Hyderabad on high

UP edge out Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Opener Gagan Khoda’s brilliant ton went in vain as Uttar Pradesh beat Rajasthan by two runs in a thrilling finish in the Central Zone One-day match.

Khoda’s 124 (145b, 9×4, 2×6) had put Rajasthan, chasing a victory target of 224, in a strong position before they succumbed to 241 all out in the last over.
