Six-year-old raped

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a former tenant of the family in Basti Jodhewal locality on Sunday.

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a former tenant of the family in Basti Jodhewal locality on Sunday. The victim was dumped at an isolated place in a critical condition.

Suresh Kumar, a resident of Ekta Colony, has been booked on charges of rape by the police but he is still at large. Meanwhile, the medical report of the victim confirmed the rape.

According to the police, the girl had been missing from her house since Saturday evening. The family traced her in an unconscious condition on Sunday evening with her private parts bleeding and rushed her to a hospital.

The police said a few residents of the area had seen the accused with the girl on Saturday.

The police have questioned a few relatives of the accused to trace him.
