JALANDHAR, Nov 30: Punjab Health Minister Manoranjan Kalia today distributed 167 dentures worth Rs 6 lakh free of cost to as many poor and needy patients who were among 3115 people examined and treated during the dental fortnight which concluded in civil hospital here today.

The minister also flagged off six mobile dental clinics for different districts of Punjab.

Civil Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr D.P.S. Sandhu said another Rs 2 lakh were spent for treatment of dental patients during the fortnight.
