CHANDIGARH, JUNE 11: The city police have arrested six persons from Dadumajra for indulging in rioting and assault. Those arrested include Ram Anjur, Rai Birender Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Ravi Shankar and Shiv Nardan.
1 held for theft
A sector 20 resident, Jeewan Lal, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in theft of jewellery and other items nearly two weeks ago. The police are investigating the case.
Held for obscenity
Tribune colony resident, Anil Kumar, has been arrested for allegedly uttering obsecene words with intention to insult a woman. A case has been registered under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
