Six persons died and as many were injured, most of them teenagers, when they were run over by two trains between Masudan and Dharhara stations in the Kiul-Jamalpur

section of Eastern Railway’s Malda Division on Friday.

According to Railways authorities, the deceased and the injured belonged to a marriage party. They were reportedly defecating on the tracks when they were run over by 3133 Sealdah-Varanasi Express and the 210 Jayanagar-Howrah Passenger.
