BEVERLY HILLS, May 21: More than 1,000 fans gave Frank Sinatra one final heartfelt burst of applause yesterday as his flower-draped coffin was carried out of a Beverly Hills church following an emotional funeral service.
Among the 400 black-clad mourners who attended the invitation-only funeral at the Spanish-mission style Good Shepherd Catholic Church were former first Lady Nancy Reagan and such Hollywood legends as Gregory Peck, Jack Lemmon, Milton Berle, Kirk Douglas, Sidney Poitier, Jack Nicholson, Sophia Loren and Tony Bennett, Sinatra8217;s favourite singer.
