November 24: Former national champion Rajeev Bagga will lead the Maharashtra team in the Bristol inter-state badminton championship to be held at Hyderabad from February 2.

Teams: Men: R Bagga, Bhushan Akut, Mayur Tawde, Leroy D’Sa, Vikrant Patwardhan, Amrish Shinde, Hemant Hardikar, Vijay Lancy and Parag Modi. Women: Archana Deodhar, Asawari Patwardhan, Naznin Karimi, Firoza Batliwala, Vinaya Shetty, and Sim Sim Salaria. Manager: SS Shetty.

Kabaddi tournament from Nov 27

The Shivshashi Chashak Kabaddi Tournament will be played at Shivaji Park, Maidan from 27th November to 1st December. Forty teams including 16 women teams from all over the country. The teams will be playing on league cum knockout basis.
