Neetu, Gyanendra shine
Neetu of Naglamachi timed 2.49 to win the junior girls 800m event in the Otto Peltzer Road Races at the National Stadium here today. In the junior boys section, Gyanendra of Raj Rifles claimed the gold in 2.43.
Other winners included Dharmender of Nehru Stadium in the men8217;s 5 k.m. event, Bhagwati of CISF in the women8217;s 5 k.m. event while in the senior boys section Vinod Kumar of Chgattrasal Stadium came first in the 2.5 km event and Sudesh Dhiraj of SYSS clinched gold in the senior girls section.
