Carmel Convent School won the CBSC inter-school basketball girls title defeating Manav Sthali 26-20 at Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Loretto Convent beat Vivekanand School 37-34 for the third place. In the boys section, Chinmaya School beat JD Tytler 77-64 in a semifinal match while APS (Dhaula Kuan) prevailed over St Michael 88-64 to enter the final.

Deadly bowling by Ashish (4 for 13) helped P&O Travels thrash TERI (Haryana) by six wickets in the second Duttu Phadkar memorial tournament, organised by Tata Energy Research Institute at Nehru Stadium.
