International rating chess
MUMBAI, May 6: Five International Masters, alongwith 50 International rated chess players, have confirmed their participation for the All-India International Rating chess tournament, starting at the Andheri Sports Complex from May 7 to 17. The total prize-money for the tournament is Rs 1 lakh.
Waterpolo meet
The PM Hinduja Swimming bath and boat club trust will organise an All India Invitation Waterpolo tournament in the gent swimming pool from May 12 till May 16. Leading teams from all over India are participating in the league cum knock out basis tournament. The tournament has been approved by the Swimming Federation of India, the official body for conducting Aquatic tournament in India.
Cricket tourney
Samasta Brahman Mahasangh cricket tournament 40 overs organised by Brahman Vikas Parishad will start from May 7 at Azad Maidan. Eight teams will participating in the 40 overs tournament. The final will be on May 16.
