Delhi Ranji Trophy skipper Ajay Sharma8217;s all-round performance 4 for 21 and 40 not out helped Central warehousing Corporation CWC beat Mohan Meakin by five wickets in AI division of DDCA league at Kotla 1 here on Friday.With his left-arm spin, Ajay helped his team restrict Meakins to 194 in 38.4 overs and then hit up an unbeaten 40 as CWC reached the target for the loss of five wickets in 39.1 overs.

Krishna shines

Four goals in a row by Krishna was the highlight of Shiksha Bharti Public School8217;s 4-0 victory over Dev Samaj Public School in the Deorani Inter-School Football Tournament.The winners qualified for the super league. In the second match, Naval Public School upset Mamta Modern, Vikaspuri by a solitary goal scored by Abhishek.

Malviya win

The Pool B super league match in the Hari Singh Tyagi Memorial Cricket Tournament was awarded to Malviya club as their opponents Jupiter had fielded Harish Kumar whose name was not in the playing name xi. Jupiter had defeated Malviya earlier. The tournament now stands postponed till May 5 due to the non availability of the ground. The matches will be played on May 6 at the New Police Lines ground from 8 a.m onwards.
