Seven BJP MPs have resigned from the Lok Sabha after their victories in the recently concluded assembly polls. "Seven MPs - four from Madhya Pradesh and one each from Rajasthan, Delhi and Chhattisgarh - have resigned from the Lok Sabha and they were given farewell in the Parliamentary party meet today," party leader Venkaiah Naidu told reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday. The seven MPs include Vijay Kumar Malhotra, who has decided to retain his assembly seat from Delhi and resigned his South Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Naidu said. Apart from Malhotra, the other MPs who resigned their seats are Sartaj Singh Chattwal (Hoshangabad-Madhya Pradesh), Kiran Maheshwari (Udaipur-Rajasthan), Neeta Pateria (Seoni-Madhya Pradesh), Punnulal Mohale (Bilaspur-Chhattisgarh), Gauri Shanker Bisen (Balaghat-Madhya Pradesh) and Ramkrishna Kusmaria (Khajuraho-Madhya Pradesh).
