Senior swamiji of Moorusavira Math to go on fast

HUBLI, Nov 9: The ‘pattabisheka’ of Sri Rudramuni Devaru anointing him the head of the Moorusavira Math, one of the prestigious maths in North Karnataka, was conducted amidst religious fervour but in the absence of senior pontiff, Dr Gangadhar Rajayogendra Swamiji. It might be noted the senior pontiff had cancelled the registration pertaining to the appointment of his successor on November 2 and had said that Sri Rudramuni Devaru had no locus standi to call himself the ‘uttradhikari’ of the math.
