The incident occurred when a KDS Public School bus, carrying 80 children, overturned in Omega sector injuring nine students, SP(Greater Noida) S K Verma said.

The bus driver, in an effort to avoid a head-on collision with a car, lost control over the vehicle and it overturned, he said.

Nine injured students were taken to a nearby hospital, he said, adding six of them have been discharged while three were still admitted to the ICU.

Drivers of both bus and car are absconding, he added.
