MUMBAI, July 11: Fourth-seeded Sangeeta Chandorkar defeated sixth seed Manisha Nagaokar 25-19, 20-25, 25-8 to emerge champion in the women's singles section of the Kshatriya Union Club Open District Ranking carrom tournament, sponsored by Philips India, Colgate Palmolive, Indian Oil, LIC, Union Bank and Saraswat Bank, at the Vanmali Hall, today.In the tussle for the women's singles third place, unseeded Parimi Nirmala beat second seed Anupama Kedar 25-23, 25-11.The sub-junior boys singles crown was claimed by Shailesh Rathod with a 10-25, 25-11, 25-10 triumph over Roshan Kajrolkar.
