BANGALORE, May 20: India’s master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will make his first appearance in the Coca Cola Cup triangular cricket series on his home turf when India take on Bangladesh on May 25.

Besides Tendulkar, Navjot Sidhu too makes a comeback. Only four players from the team that played the Bangalore match find a place in the Mumbai tie. They are: Ajay Jadeja, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Robin Singh. The team was announced by the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, JY Lele here on Wednesday. Jadeja and Laxman, bow out of the team for the Gwalior match against Kenya (May 28). Their place would be filled by Mohammed Azharuddin and Mumbai’s Jatin Paranjpye.

Besides Paranjpye, another newcomer in the team would be Uttar Pradesh’s left handed opening batsman Jyothi Yadav who has been included in the squad for the next two games.

Vs Bangladesh in Mumbai (May 25): Ajay Jadeja (captain); Tendulkar, Navjot Sidhu, Dravid, Laxman, Robin Singh, Saba Karim (wk), Anil Kumble,Venkatesh Prasad, Harbhajan Singh, Nikhil Chopra, Paras Mhambrey, Jyothi Yadav and Nilesh Kulkarni.

Vs Kenya at Gwalior (May 28): Mohammed Azharuddin (captain) will replace Jadeja; Mumbai’s Jatin Paranjpaye will come in place of VVS Laxman and Nayan Mongia will take Saba Karim’s place.
