RTO seizes four buses, cars

VADODARA, May 21: Assistant Regional Transport Officer D Chudasma seized four luxury buses, near the IPCL township on Thursday, as they were plying without renewed licenses. The luxury buses were travelling with bogus licenses, Chudasma said adding that the licenses of these buses were not renewed and were charging money from the passengers on the basis of the bogus licenses.

Apart from the buses, two cars belonging to a private company were also seized by the RTO. According to Chudasma, the owners of the company had secured a license for the vehicles for private use, but were using it for commercial purpose, without renewing the licenses.Chudasma added that all the four buses and the cars were at present with the RTO and they could be recovered after paying a fine.
