CHENNAI, Jan 17: During the current year, the cormorant species has decreased in the Vedanthangal birds sanctuary and has been taken over by the duck species such as shovelers, gargini teals and pintailed ducks. Mita Banerjee, Wildlife Warden, Chennai said the ducks have come in very large numbers.
