MUMBAI, April 15: It was no joke for nearly 200 contract workers, half of them women, when their employer Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers RCF Ltd, Chembur, dimissed them on April 1, 1998.
They staged a morcha on Wednesday protesting their dismissal without giving any reasons. The company had told the workers who attended their morning shift to go home.
