CHANDIGARH, March 10: A rally was held by the U.T. Road Wing of Engineering Department today to mobilise the workers for a mass dharna pllanned by the UT Roads Workers Union, Chandigarh for March 23.
The employees are protesting for the implementation of their demands, which include grant of bonus to all the UT employees for the year 1997-98, regularisation of all daily wage workers and filling up of the vacant posts in the department among others.
