Reiterating that he would stand by his Marathi manoos agenda, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray on Monday announced that he would reveal his future plans at a rally to be held on May 3 at Shivaji Park.Raj, who finally broke his silence after being subjected to a state Government-imposed gag order for weeks, also lashed out at critics and questioned why they had kept mum on the recent killings of 14 migrants at Manipur. Questioning the silence of people who criticised him after his anti-north Indian statements lead to violence against migrants in the state, Raj alleged they had “an eye on Mumbai.”“They have an eye on Moneypur and not on Manipur,” he alleged. He was speaking at a function organised by his two-year-old party to commemorate Shiv Jayanti (birthday of Chhatrapati Shivaji) at Shivaji Park on Monday.Referring to media reports and speculation about whether he would make an appearance at the well-attended function where party cadre turned out in impressive numbers to watch historian Babasaheb Purandare and veteran musician Hridaynath Mangeshkar recreate the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji on stage, Raj said he had not kept his agenda aside.“The agenda is still there..” he said in his speech delivered from a specially erected stage, while stating that he was keeping mum due to the ongoing exam season and budget session.
