
NEW DELHI, July 31: Leading Delhi-based industrialist Mukesh Jain, managing director of Pashupati Acrylon Industries, shot himself dead on Thursday morning at his New Friends Colony residence. Jain had been kidnapped in 1993 and released after the family reportedly paid several crores of rupees to his abductors. Jain, 41, is survived by his wife Shruti, a daughter and a son. Sources said Jain locked himself in the bathroom and shot himself in the head with his pistol.
