PCNTDA to raze illegal constructions
A major action against encroachments and unauthorised construction in the various sectors of the Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority PCNTDA will be initiated shortly, according to PCNTDA chief executive officer B E Nagrale.

The action will be initiated with the help of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation PCMC, Nagrale told newspersons today. Prithviraj Bayas who is holding additional charge as Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner who also addressed newspersons along with Nagrale said that, if required, the services of the anti-encroachment department of the Pune Municipal Corporation, will also be taken for the action.

Nagrale and Bayas said the work of identifying all the encroachments and unauthorised constructions in PCNTDA area has been initiated and the survey will be completed by Monday next. Simultaneously, the work on issuing notices to the owners of the unauthorised buildings has also been taken up. Eight teams have been formed to carry out the survey. The police authorities are also assisting the teams. An action-plan will be prepared and no one will be spared, declared Nagrale who has recently taken charge as PCNTDA executive officer.
