CHANDIGARH, FEB 28: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has ordered a high level inquiry into the accident with claimed the life of K.S. Aulakh, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, a few days ago.

The Chief Minister has transferred the case from SHO Mullanpur to the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ropar. The CIA staff had been asked to interrogate the accused driver of the truck which hit Aulakhs car, it is officially learnt.

According to Gurpreet Singh Aulakh, son of the deceased, the late PCCF was to give evidence, in a few days time, regarding a scam worth several crores of rupees pertaining to the Thien Dam area in Pathankot.
