Pietersen scores double century as England declare at 474/8

Kevin Pietersen smashed an unbeaten double hundred as England declared at 474 for eight against India in the first cricket Test being played at Lord’s.

Pietersen’s double century came with a cut through point region. He remained unbeaten on 202. He faced 326 balls in the process hitting 21 boundaries and a six. Praveen Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers getting his maiden five-for.
