Louisiana Governor of Indian origin Bobby Jindal’s support from the legal fraternity for fundraising has grown sharply as he cruises to a second term.

LeBlanc and his firm have also doled out hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats over the years, including to US President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The support to the 40-year-old is deeper than just one prominent attorney.

Earlier this year, the Metairie-based firm of Gauthier,Houghtaling and Williams threw a 1,000 dollars-per person cocktail party to benefit Jindal’s re-election.
