The ICC today extended the deadline for the submission of the 15-player final squad for the World Twenty20 Championship in Sri Lanka by six days after receiving requests from various member nations.
The international governing body in a statement confirmed that it has extended the deadline by six days for the men8217;s teams to submit its squads.
8220;All participating men8217;s teams must have its 15-player squads into the ICC no later than Friday 24 August 2012,8221; ICC stated in a release.
8220;The date for the women8217;s teams to submit its 15-player squads for the ICC Women8217;s World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 remains unchanged and must still be submitted to the ICC by Sunday 26 August 2012,8221; it added.
