MUMBAI, July 18: Indian number six Bhushan Thakur of Pune and talented junior player Mallika Parekh of Mumbai have been given the pride of place in the men’s and women’s singles respectively at the Matunga Gymkhana Major State Ranking Table Tennis tournament at their venue here from tomorrow.

Mallika, who is ranked fourth in junior section in the country is the top seed in the junior girls singles as well while Aditya Mahagaonkar of Mumbai heads the list in the junior boys singles, a release said here today.
