Poonam said she had taken her father’s watch, mobile phone and wallet after his death and kept it in her house.

Between April 12 and 13 this year, she received a phone call from her mother Rekha, asking if she had any idea as to where Pramod’s mobile phone was. Poonam searched for the same in her house and handed it to police on April 15.

Police then asked Poonam to check if there was any text message in the said phone sent by accused Pravin, which she found.
