NEW DELHI, March 5: Polling in Udhampur constituency in Jammu and Kashmir has been postponed to March 18 following inclement weather. The counting of votes for Udhampur will be held on March 21, commission officials said today.Announcing the change in schedule, a spokesman said the EC had received reports about deteriorating weather conditions from the Chief Electoral Officer of the state, the Election Commission's own observer and the state government. Heavy snow fall made it impossible for voters and polling officials to reach the higher reaches of Udhampur.
