PM to look into Kini case

MUMBAI, May 31: Sheila Kini, widow of a city tenant Ramesh Kini, who was found dead in a cinema theatre in Pune under mysterious circumstances 10 months ago, today met the Prime Minister I K Gujral and sought his intervention in speeding up investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Social activist Pushpa Bhave, who accompanied Sheila Kini to the PM, said that they sought hastening of the pace of the probe into the Ramesh Kini death case, in which Shiv Sena students’ leader Ashutosh Rane is one of the accused.
