Pinnacle Club opens

SAS NAGAR, MAY 21: The first socio-economic club, which will provide its members the benefits of wholesale buying, besides other benefits is coming up in the 6.5 acres area in Phase 6, Industrial Area of the township. The promoters of the club the Pinnacle Group claim that it is a concept new to India.

According to the proprietor of the club, Davinder Sandhu, said that the idea for the concept had come from North America. During his few years of stay in Canada he had come across such markets, 30,000 to 40,000 square feet outside the cities. He siad this place was ideal for this kind of a venture as it had proper parking facilities and the required area. The percentage of profit is very nominal and the goods are sold at wholesale rates. Besides the permanent showroom and the membership scheme, a three-day bazar in the last week of every month would be held for the members in which different companies would participate.

The club would be providing a number of facilities like fast food, catering, monthly events, a Friday movie and lucky draws. At present we have a membership of 2,000 people which is expected to rise to 10,000 within the next three months he added.
