PCS executive body takes on Punjab govt

The PCS Executive Association today went on a virtual warpath against the government over the dismissal of its fellow colleagues in the infamous PPSC scam, alleging the state had dismissed these officers without conducting a inquiry. The association also said they would not object to dismissal if a person was guilty bribing to become PCS officer.

The association meeting today follows the state’s decision to dismiss 28 PCS officers and revert 18 promoted to PCS. All 28 dismissed officers have decided to file independent petitions instead of a collective petition with the high court.
