The city was party mode as folks flocked to Golf Club for the inauguration of the new bar and then, to Kirpal Singh of Gurudev Studio’s exclusive party for the ICL players. The cricketers got a chance to let their hair down and enjoy interactions with other players and the local people. It was evening of smiles among music. Incidentally, Kirpal Singh’s son Harpreet Singh is also an ICL player.

Remember we mentioned to you the other day that the Formal Bar at the Chandigarh Golf Club has got a facelift. To celebrate the re-launch and to get the members to check it inside out, the Club threw a formal bash on Monday evening. The party kicked off early on with the Club’s president D S Bains formally inaugurate the bar. “Our next project is to renovate the gazebo,” said Bains. Making it a perfect evening was Jacob and his band that kept everyone on the floor. Among those we spotted were R S Mann, Gen (retd) Himmat Gill, Gen (retd) Deepinder Singh, Bikramjit Singh, Brig (retd) J S Phoolka and Milkha Singh.
