Sharjah, Oct 14: Off-spinner Shoaib Malik claimed two vital wickets for 34 on his debut as Pakistan crushed West Indies by 130 runs in the second Coca Cola Trophy tri-nation cricket tournament match today.

Chasing a target of 261 without the assuring presence of Jimmy Adams — who did not bat due to a ligament tear — West Indies lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 130. Skipper Brian Lara (8) fell cheaply for the second match in a row, going for a flashy drive off Wasim Akram.

Earlier, sparkling half-centuries from Saeed Anwar and Inzamam-ul Haq helped Pakistan pile up 260. Anwar had four sixes and three fours in his 72, off 87 balls.
