ON THE CHANCES OF A BCCI RE-POLL

I don’t think it’s in the offing so I don’t want to comment. The stay on the working of the Board has been removed and the present working is smooth. As far as the re-poll issue is concerned, the application moved by the interested parties is only a review application. It is not a petition.

ON ELECTIONS TO THE FRACTIOUS MCA

I have been reading about this in the papers and I do not want to say anything on the issue. Regarding their representation at the BCCI elections, former president Jagmohan Dalmiya has already given a ruling in the presence of a retired High Court Judge of Kolkata during the BCCI AGM and it was done on some basis

It’s definitely cause for concern. We feel that our boys have failed this time. Maybe they are passing through a bad phase but it will soon be over. We are confident of doing better in the series against South Africa
