BHUBANESWAR, Aug 1: Opposition BJP today gave a notice of no-confidence against the Congress government headed by J B Patnaik for its “failure on all fronts”, according to party sources.
The notice submitted to the Secretary of the State Assembly alleged that the motion was sought to be moved as the government had “failed on all fronts while extending protection to Advocate General Indrajit Roy, who was facing trial in the Anjana Mishra case”.
Meanwhile, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) had also decided to move a motion of no-confidence against the government, Leader of Opposition Ramakrushna Patnaik told newsmen here today.
